Clients relax in our spacious television lounges, to watch their favourite programmes. We provide an in-house entertainment programme, with activities such as bingo, concerts and crosswords. Organised outings in our mini bus allow residents to visit Burry Port harbour, the Gower and strawberry picking being amongst the favourite. A car is available for the use of residents. A library and daily newspaper service is also available. Birthdays are remembered and celebrated at Ty Mair
On arrival clients are asked for their preferred choices of meals and our chefs prepare special diets as required. Breakfast, lunch and dinner are served in either of the dining rooms or in our clients' rooms. Afternoon tea is served daily for clients as well as their guests. We try, wherever possible to use local fresh products (including our own organic vegetables). Home baking and a varied and nutritious diet are features of the catering.
All bed linen and towels are supplied and a full personal laundry service is provided at no extra charge by our "in house" laundry.
The hairdresser visits twice weekly.
A chiropodist calls at Ty Mair to attend to clients' requirements.
Clients may retain their family doctor or register with the doctors' surgery close to Ty Mair.
This free service is provided to all residents.
Visits and appointments are arrange with residents own dentist or optician.
